Carroll Coalition Against Underage Drinking

Youth

Save Your Brain Challenge Contest

Research shows that drinking alcohol before 21 can harm an adolescent growing brain which will impact their memory, self-control and decision making skills. (Source NIAAA) The coalition is asking students to "Save Their Brains" from the harmful effects of alcohol by showing positive prevention activities and messages through the use of videos and posters.

The Save your Brain Challenge is a contest open to all Carroll County, Maryland students in grades 6-12. Individual students, small groups or school organizations/clubs can enter to win. Your school community can benefit and win up to $500.00 in merchandise tailored to each school's need. Students winning entries will be recognized in a coalition sponsored marketing campaign shown throughout Carroll County.
