Carroll Coalition Against Underage Drinking

Alcohol has been identified as the #1 Drug of choice among youth because of easy accessibility. The Sticker Shock Project is designed to reach adults who might purchase alcohol legally and provide it to minors. Stickers warning about the penalties for furnishing alcohol to minors are placed on all multi-packs of beer, alco-pops, and other alcohol products that might appeal to underage drinkers. Our “sticker” volunteers include: Coalition members, law enforcement officers, parents and their children ages 14 and older, college students and concerned citizens.

Project Sticker Shock Day in Carroll County is the first Saturday in April and kicks-off National Alcohol Awareness Month.
